Robert Gillmor has been producing art professionally since the age of 16 and his work can be found in over 100 publications. Robert Gillmor was instrumental in the founding of the Society of Wildlife artists with other leading artists such as Eric Ennion, and was it’s president for 10 years from 1984.
Exhibiting and travelling nationally and internationally, including in Africa and the USA, Robert Gillmor now draws his inspiration from the wildlife and distinct countryside of North Norfolk, which is his home. Print making is his favoured medium, with which he captures the intimate behaviour of birds and mammals within the landscape they have helped to shape. Robert Gillmor is the grandson of the artist Allan Seaby.
